While working as an assistant head start teacher in Los Angeles, Betty Battle felt the call to further her education and become a teacher. After 21 years as a California educator, she returned home to Texas. She joined Jesus Christ Church in January 2000, working in different ministries, such as hospitality and family ministry. She is now a Gatekeeper and a treasured member of our intercessory prayer team.
